       1. For batch size experiments, the mold output is small, and wood or resin can be used for manufacturing. However, if it is assumed that the experimental mold is used to obtain data on the shortening, standard stability and cycle time of the product, a single cavity mold should be used for the experiment and it can be used under production conditions. Molds are generally made of gypsum, copper, aluminum, or aluminum-steel alloy, and aluminum-resin is rarely used.


   2. A few shapes are planned. When planning, it is often necessary to consider the standard stability and surface quality. For example, product planning and standard stability require the use of female molds (female molds), but products with high gloss on the surface require the use of male molds (male molds). Point, so that the product can be produced under the best conditions. Experience has shown that planning that does not meet the conditions for practical processing is often a failure.

3. The standard is stable. During the molding process, the contact surface of the plastic part and the mold is better than the standard stability of the part that is away from the mold. Suppose that the thickness of the material needs to be changed in the future because of the rigidity of the material, which may lead to the conversion of the male mold to the female mold. The standard tolerance of plastic parts cannot be lower than 10% of the shortening rate.


   4. The surface of the plastic parts. In terms of the scale that the molding material can cover, the surface structure of the visible surface of the plastic parts should be formed at the contact with the mold. If possible, the smooth surface of the plastic part should not be in contact with the mold surface. It is like the case of choosing a female mold to make a bathtub and a laundry tub.


   5. Retouching. Suppose the mechanical horizontal saw is used to saw off the clamping edge of the plastic parts. In the height direction, there must be at least 6~8mm of margin. For other finishing work, such as grinding, laser cutting or jet, it is also necessary to leave a margin. The gap between the cutting lines of the blade die is the smallest, and the spreading width of the punching die during the trimming is also very small, these should be paid attention to.


   6. Shortening and deformation, plastic is easy to shorten (such as PE), some plastic parts are easy to deform, no matter how prepared, the plastic parts will deform during the cooling stage. Under such conditions, it is necessary to change the shape of the forming mold to get used to a few errors in plastic parts. For example: Although the wall of the plastic part remains straight, its datum center has deviated from 10mm; the mold base can be raised to adjust the shortening amount of this deformation.


   7. The amount of shortening, the following shortening factors must be considered when manufacturing the blister forming mold. ① Shortened molded products. Assuming that the shortening rate of plastics cannot be clearly known, it is necessary to take samples or obtain them through experiments with similarly shaped molds. Note: Only the shortening rate can be obtained through this method, and the deformation standard cannot be obtained. ② The foul gas in the intermediate medium affects the shortening of the composition, such as ceramics and silicone rubber. ③ The shortening of the material used in the mold, such as the shortening when casting aluminum.
