   1. Mechanical polishing of two-color molds Mechanical polishing is a polishing method that uses the plastic deformation of the material surface to cut and remove the polished convex portions to obtain a smooth surface. Usually, whetstone strips, wool wheels, sandpaper, etc. are used. Manual operation is the main method. Special components (such as the surface of a rotating body) can be used with auxiliary tools (such as a turntable). The ultra-precision polishing method requires high surface quality. Ultra-precision polishing is a special grinding tool. In the polishing liquid containing abrasive, the abrasive is pressed against the surface of the workpiece and rotates at high speed. This process achieves a surface roughness of Ra 0.008 μm, which is the highest surface roughness among various polishing methods. This method is commonly used in molds for optical lenses.


  2. Magnetic grinding and polishing of two color molds Magnetic grinding and polishing (MAP) uses a magnetic abrasive to form a brush under a magnetic field to grind a workpiece. This method has the advantages of high processing efficiency, good quality, easy control of processing conditions, and good working conditions. Using suitable abrasives, the surface roughness can reach Ra0.1μm

3. The ultrasonic polishing of the two-color mold places the workpiece in the abrasive suspension and then in the ultrasonic field. According to the vibration of the ultrasonic wave, the abrasive is ground and polished on the surface of the workpiece. The macroscopic force of ultrasonic machining is very small, and will not cause deformation of the workpiece, but it is difficult to manufacture and install the tool. Ultrasonic treatment can be combined with chemical or electrochemical methods. Based on solution corrosion and electrolysis, ultrasonic vibration is used to stir the solution to separate the dissolved products on the surface of the workpiece, and the corrosion or electrolyte near the surface is uniform. The cavitation of ultrasonic waves in the liquid also suppresses the corrosion process and promotes surface light.


   4. Chemical polishing of two-color molds Chemical polishing is to dissolve the micro-protrusions of the material in the chemical medium in preference to the concave parts to obtain a smooth surface. The main advantage of this method is that it does not require complex equipment, can polish complex workpieces, and can efficiently polish multiple workpieces at the same time. The key issue in chemical polishing is the preparation of polishing solution. The surface roughness obtained by chemical polishing is usually 10 microns.
