The compulsory certification of power cable products implements the new standard JB/T873

B/T 8734.1 ~ 5-2012 (hereinafter referred to as "new version standard") was released on May 24, 2012, implemented on November 1, 2012, and recently published and printed. The new version of the standard replaces the JB/T 8734.1 ~ 5-1998 standard (hereinafter referred to as the "old version standard"), and integrates the "Electrical and Electronic Products Compulsory Certification Implementation Rules for Wire and Cable Products" (No. CNCA-01C-002: 2007) The products of Annex 6 and Annex 7 (hereinafter referred to as "Annex for Implementation Rules"). In order to ensure the effective implementation of the compulsory product certification system, according to the "Notice on Issues Related to Compulsory Product Certification during Standard Revision" (Guo Shen Ke Lian [2005] No. 18) and The relevant requirements of the Announcement of Requirements (CAC No. 4 of 2012), the requirements for the implementation of the new version of the standard for compulsory certification of wire and cable products are now as follows:

1. From the date of this announcement, the new version of the standard will be used for certification.

2. For products that have been certified in accordance with the old version of the standard and the attachments of the implementation rules, the certificate holder should submit an application for the conversion of the new version of the standard certificate to our center before the next follow-up inspection. If necessary, samples must be sent for testing. Renew the new version of the standard certification and complete the conversion of the new version of the standard certificate. When applying for the conversion of the certification certificate, each unit provides at least one model (only referring to the model products in the JB/T8734.1～5-2012 standard) mandatory product certification type test report, which can be exempted from sending samples for inspection. The requirement of 1 is to send a sample to a designated laboratory for mandatory product certification for type testing.

3. The conversion work of the certification certificate of the old version and the annex of the implementation rules should be completed before April 1, 2014. If the certificate conversion work is not completed after the deadline, our center will suspend it; if the certificate conversion work has not been completed before July 1, 2014 , Our center will revoke its old certification.

4. For certified products that have been shipped, put on the market and no longer produced before the effective date of this announcement, no certificate conversion is required.

5. The scope of product certification is subject to the National Announcement No. 30 of 2012. Except for RVB 300/300V 0.5-0.75, the models and specifications added by the new version of the standard are not within the scope of compulsory product certification. The following products in the JB/T 8734.1～5-2012 standards belong to the scope of mandatory product certification:

RVB 300/300V 0.5～2.5 (2-core).

6. The JB/T 8734.1～5-2012 standards do not include the RVP-300/300 1～1.5 (2-core) and RVP-90 300/300 1～1.5 (2-core) in the JB/T 8734.1～5-1998 standards. ), this part of the product no longer meets the conditions for the implementation of compulsory product certification. Since the announcement date, this part of the product will no longer be subject to compulsory product certification. The original certificate will be cancelled from the date of this announcement. If the original application needs to obtain the CQC mark certificate, please contact the four departments of product certification.

7. CNCA-01C-002: The products listed in Annex 6 and Annex 7 of 2007, except RVV 300/500V 1.0 (2-core) (the model specification has been listed in GB/T 5023.5-2008 standard, model 60227IEC53 (RVV), GB/T 5023.5-2008 will be used to implement compulsory product certification), other products have all been included in the new version of the standard, the new version of the standard will be used to implement the mandatory product certification.

Attachment: Major changes in the new version of the standard

The contents of JB/T 8734.1～5-2012 standards replace JB/T 8734.1～5-1998 standards, and also include the contents of Annex 6 and Annex 7 of CNCA-01C-002:2007. Compared with the above standards and documents, there is no change in the raw material varieties of the products, and there are no additional test items for the products. The main changes are as follows:

1. Modified the color spectrum.

2. Modified the distance requirement between signs.

3. The product model is added, the nominal cross-sectional area of the conductor is modified, and the number of cores of the cable is increased.

4. The upper limit of the outer diameter of 10mm2 and 16mm2 in the BVR cable has been relaxed.
